FORMER Riverdance star Colin Dunne has revealed for the first time how money woes almost robbed him of his love of Irish dancing.
Colin, who replaced Michael Flatley as the male lead in Riverdance, admitted he thought he was finished when his own show collapsed in 1999 with debts of pounds 3million.
He said he found himself unable to dance for four months after his Dancing On Dangerous Ground extravaganza went down the tubes, just eight nights after it opened in New York.
Unknown to the public, the show's closure coincided with the end of Colin's relationship with his girlfriend of five years.
