THE Sunday Mirror has teamed up with Witnness to offer 50 readers the chance to attend the most happening dance event of the summer.
Witnness 29.05.02 will be the biggest musical event that the festival team have ever staged in Ireland.
As a taster to the festival which takes place at Fairyhouse Racecourse on July 13 and 14, Witnness are bringing chart-topping dance act Basement Jaxx to headline the Belfast show.
Basement Jaxx, aka Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, first shot to fame with their 1999 debut album Remedy.
They started to set the dance world alight with tracks such as Red Alert being picked up by big name DJs across the globe form Armand Van Helden to Roger Sanchez.
Last year, the Basement boys quest to keep us all jumping continued with the release of their latest and greatest album to date.
Rooty - named after the club night the boys held in an Irish bar in Brixton - was nominated for the 2001 Mercury Music Prize and has already spawned a string of hits including the dance floor smash Where's Your Head At? and the now club classic Romeo.
Basement Jaxx will be joined at the special Belfast event by a number of guests whose identity so far remains a mystery.
Witnness will be transforming the Odyssey Pavilion into a musical paradise and guests will be treated to a long list of top-quality performances and DJ sets throughout the night. …
