Is a Recognition Factor Needed? Perhaps If More Attention Was Paid to the "Recognition Factor," the Camera Clubs, Councils, and Even the International Salon Groups, Could Increase Current Involvement

During four decades of involvement in photographic activities with area camera clubs, the Twin Cities Area (TCA) Council of Camera Clubs, and at times, the 10-State North Central Camera Club Council, seldom-recognized members who had provided basic support services to the organization at annual award-dinner meetings.

Even the organization's Directory-while listing the officers, bulletin editor, activity chairpersons and the recipients of salon awards--failed to mention those members who diligently labored in the background and certainly attributed to accorded accomplishments.
