Only 56 per cent of employers are currently aware of how much time their employees spend on the Internet, despite recent reports of employees using the Internet inappropriately at work, according to new research by Star Internet.
The research into attitudes towards Internet usage also showed that one in every three employers actively encourage their staff to use the Internet for leisure within the office, indicating that working attitudes towards the web are more lenient than previously thought.
