BRADFORD winger Claus Jorgensen broke battling Grimsby's brave hearts with a spectacular last-gasp goal to win this relegation struggle.

It looked as if Grimsby, down to 10 men for all the second half after the dismissal of striker Steve Livingstone, would hang on for a priceless point.

Then Jorgensen struck, hammering in a 25-yard drive that gave keeper Danny Coyne no chance.

And that wasn't the end of the drama, for seconds later City midfielder Simon Francis was sent off after a clash with Grimsby defender Darren Barnard.

The Mariners were a man short from first half injury time when Livingstone caught City defender Robert Molenaar with an elbow.

It didn't look deliberate but referee Mark Clattenburg sent Livingstone packing. At that time Grimsby were a goal in front thanks to an early strike from speedy striker Michael Boulding.

But City had the better of things from then on although they lacked punch in the danger zone.

They finally drew level early in the second half when Andy Gray collected a flick from Ashley Ward and beat the advancing Coyne for his 11th goal of his season. …
