PAUL SCHOLES will be a Manchester United player for the rest of his career, says Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Ginger Prince is in the form of his life and in the mood today to send West Ham's season spiralling deeper into the gloom with an FA Cup exit.
The England midfielder has been the catalyst for United's surge towards glory this season, with the Old Trafford boss revealing he is the envy of every top coach in Europe.
"Everywhere I go the coaches all tell me that Scholesy is the player they admire," he said.
"But if they think they'll get him they're wasting their time!
"Paul is a Manc lad pure and simple. He loves the club and there's no chance of him leaving here. If ever he decided to go there would be a stampede, but he won't be going anywhere - he's here for life.
"Maybe Oldham Athletic would have a chance because he's mad about them!
"But, really, he likes it here so much - and we're glad about that.''
Scholes has bagged 14 goals so far this season and is the chief danger to West Ham's hopes of avoiding another morale-sapping defeat. It's the type of world-class form that has Fergie and Sven Goran Eriksson drooling.
But Fergie confessed he's had to convince Scholes that he belongs alongside players like Zidane and Figo. …
