PERFECTIONIST Arsene Wenger last night paid tribute to Farnborough ... but blasted his defence for leaking a goal!
The Arsenal boss said: "We are not happy that we didn't have a clean sheet. We will have to improve that part of things for the game against Liverpool on Wednesday."
Rocky Baptiste scored the Conference side's consolation to leave manager Graham Westley saying: "That is something he'll never forget. Not many strikers score here and that is a nice trophy for him to have. He deserved it.
"But all the lads will never forget this day. I wanted them to be able to walk off with their heads held high and I think they can do that.
"For two weeks - the preparation and now the match - they have experienced what it is like to be a professional footballer. That can only do them good."
Christian Lee certainly won't forget the occasion. The midfielder, only drafted into the side when Barry Laker failed a late fitness test, was sent off just before the half-hour mark with the score at 2-0.
"He says that he just put his arm across Francis Jeffers but I don't have any complaints," said Westley, who again put up a vigorous defence of the decision to switch the tie. "He was clearly the last line of defence and I don't think the referee had much choice. …
