MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia wide receiver Darius Reynaud takes a basic approach to returning kickoffs.
When he sees an opening, he runs for it.
Reynaud raced untouched 96 yards on a kickoff for the Mountaineers' fifth touchdown last Thursday night in a 45-24 non- conference victory over Maryland at Milan Puskar Stadium.
"When I picked it up, I just saw green, so I hit it hard," Reynaud said. "When I saw all that green, my eyes got so big. I just ran."
Reynaud, a speedy junior from Luling, La., made 30 catches last season and displayed a knack for making big plays in big games.
