A SENIOR police officer who said he found anarchism "attractive" will be reprimanded by his boss, Sir John Stevens, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, this morning.
But Commander Brian Paddick, who has just returned from a three- week holiday, is not expected to lose his job.
Sir John is likely to warn Mr Paddick over his future conduct and any public statements that could be seen to bring the Metropolitan Police into disrepute or ridicule.
Mr Paddick, 43, who is in charge of the Lambeth division in south London, has already been carpeted by the Commissioner after he said arresting people with small quantities of cocaine and ecstasy was a "waste of resources".
The latest furore follows revelations that Mr Paddick, who is Britain's most senior openly gay police officer, had been contributing to a debate on a radical internet website called www.urban75. …
