Natural Gas Jobs Continue to Flow in Pennsylvania

Andrew Tkach of Murrysville, an electrical engineer who became a victim of his employer's cost-cutting measures 18 months ago, is hoping that Western Pennsylvania's boom in natural gas exploration can be his chance to get back to work.

"Marcellus shale looks like the next big opportunity," Tkach said Wednesday.

Tkach was among more than 100 people from the natural gas industry, supply companies, work force development professionals and educators at the Marcellus Shale Coalition's Workforce Summit at California University of Pennsylvania.
