Rudy J. Alvarado is the CEO of Advancia Corp. and four other Oklahoma-based companies - Potawatomi Training LLC, Advancia Aeronautics LLC, Advancia Technologies LLC and Securio Group LLC. These technical support services companies excel at managing large, complex, high-technology projects, primarily for the federal government.
When Alvarado bought Advancia in 1990, the company had 17 employees. Today, these companies employ more than 240 people in 34 offices nationwide, from Washington, D.C., to Anchorage, Alaska.
During his more than 40-year career in high-technology industries, Alvarado has founded several successful high-tech companies. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, he worked for two Fortune 500 corporations - General Electric and the Square D Company, now owned by Schneider Electric.
