WILFRIED ZAHA today completed his Pounds 15million move to Manchester United but will remain at Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old winger has signed a five-and-a-half-year contract understood to be worth an initial Pounds 35,000 a week and had a medical at Old Trafford this morning.
United will pay Pounds 10m up front, with the fee potentially rising based on Zaha's appearances and incentive-related clauses.
The two clubs reached an agreement this morning with Palace expecting the deal to be finalised next week.
Zaha said: "I am delighted to be joining Manchester United and ending the recent speculation.
"I would like to thank the owners at Palace for making the move possible, however my focus for the next five months will be solely at Crystal Palace.
"I have been at Palace for more than 10 years, I will always love the club and I want to help them get back to the Premier League, particularly for the fans who have always been so good to me."
Sir Alex Ferguson said: "We like to sign players with potential. We develop players and that has been proven many times. Hopefully the boy enjoys it here."
Zaha came through Palace's successful youth system and has scored 15 goals in 124 first-team appearances for the club.
