BRITAIN'S pull-out from Afghanistan is being ramped up with 80 military vehicles already brought home.
Ministers said the withdrawal of equipment was now happening "in earnest", with thousands of British troops set to leave the war- torn country later this year. So far, 80 military vehicles, 50 major pieces of equipment and 230 shipping containers of kit were repatriated in the last three months of 2012. Shadow defence minister Kevan Jones said: "This is the start of a massive logistical task facing our Armed Forces. The top priority must be the safety of our remaining personnel.
