"Putting Positive Mental Health to Work" will be the topic of an Oct. 17 speech by University of Oklahoma Basketball Coach Billy Tubbs at the annual meeting of the Mental Health Association in Oklahoma County.
The Mental Health Association, a United Way partner agency, is the only citizens organization dedicated to all aspects of mental health and mental illness. The annual meeting is held to recognize new board members and to offer the community an opportunity to learn more about mental health issues.
Volunteers serving on the annual meeting committee are Anne Austin, Carolyn Branham, Nancy Coats and Katy Davis.

- Wayne Coventon, executive director of the Oklahoma City Clinic, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Medical Group Administrators.
Coventon has been with the Oklahoma City Clinic since 1975 after serving as assistant administrator for Moore Municipal Hospital. As one of more than 200 Fellows in the United States, Coventon spent 12 years working on the voluntary certification program. . .
- Drs. Michael Bowen, Andrea Key, Robert Nickeson and Gregory Parker have been approved as Oklahoma City Clinic stockholders. The physicians have been with the clinic since 1988. As stockholders, they are eligible to be nominated to the board of directors, vote during board elections and make decisions that affect the clinic. . .
