By Lou Anne Wolfe Pleased with the outcome of a weekend trip to New York City, Gov. David Walters said Monday he would like to see a consortium of Oklahoma natural gas producers reach an agreement to supply compressed natural gas for New York City vehicles.
Walters also said he has made an offer to an out-of-state candidate to become the director of Oklahoma's Department of Commerce at an annual salary of $89,000, to which the candidate has agreed.
