Sonic Elects Two Directors Promotes One

Sonic Corp., Oklahoma City-based parent corporation of Sonic Industries, the operator and franchisor of Sonic Drive-Ins, has elected two members to its board of directors and promoted one of its senior officers, it was announced Thursday.

Robert Rosenberg, chief executive officer-Allied Lyons Retailing U.S.A., has been named to Sonic's board of directors. Allied Lyons owns the Dunkin Donuts and Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream chains.

Rosenberg filled a vacancy on Sonic's board created by the recent resignation of Donald Doyle, who left the board to take the position of chief executive officer of Carl Karcher Enterprises, a California-based hamburger …
