ADA (JR) -- Pre-Paid Legal Services intends to enhance its usage of the Internet to boost productivity, increase membership sales and sales associate recruitment.
The Ada-based underwriter and marketer of legal-service plans hopes exploiting the Web will provide both the Pre-Paid sales force and members with timely, critical information and support toward increasing its number and retention rates.
Chief Executive Harland C. Stonecipher said Pre-Paid will launch its cyber-based communication platform with the beginning of its International Marketing Summit, Sept. 17. "We will provide a unique opportunity for anyone to start their own Web-based business without the need to develop their own sites," he said Thursday. "We recognize e-commerce is the wave of the future and expect this to further increase our dramatic growth rate and profit margins. "The development of Pre-Paid's e-commerce site will give our sales associates the opportunity to enroll customers and recruit associates through their own personalized Web site. In addition to providing online leads, the sales associates will have access to an online catalog, which includes sales tools, educational material as well as access to online training. …
