The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce will offer a Disney Institute seminar as part of Showcase `99 on Nov. 9 at the Myriad Convention Center.
Since 1986, professionals have learned the "Disney Approach" to business and management through a series of programs presented by Walt Disney World. "The Disney Keys to Service Excellence" offers participants a change to see the business side of the Walt Disney World Resort.
The program consists of two components -- "Management, Disney Style" and "Service, Disney Style."
Registration and tuition fees for the program are $190 for chamber members and $225 for nonmembers. For registration, call 297- 8875.

Braum's on the Web
Fans of Braum's Ice Cream can now place orders for delivery anywhere in the continental United States through a new Web site (www.braums.com), which went online Monday.
In addition to half gallons of Braum's Ice Cream, other products will be available that have until now been available only at Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy Stores.
The Web site also offer a virtual tour of Braum's dairy farm, processing plant and bakery as well as games, contest and information geared to kids.
Chick-fil-A adds unit
Chick-fil-A said it will open its newest Oklahoma City restaurant on Friday in Quail Springs Mall. It will be the seventh Chick-fil-A in the Oklahoma City area.
The Atlanta-based chain said the restaurant at Quail Springs will be one of 13 mall restaurants it will open this year. Chick-fil-A has 870 restaurants in 35 states.
Taco Cabana pleased
San Antonio-based Taco Cabana said on Monday that its three restaurants opened this year in Oklahoma City continue to outperform expectations. Weekly average sales for the Oklahoma City units during the third quarter were higher than the system average, said Stephen V. Clark, president and CEO. The three area restaurants represented the chain's entry into the Oklahoma City market, which is the current management team's first new market outside of Texas. The Taco Cabana chain has 119 Mexican restaurants.
Nonprofit courses offered
The Center for Nonprofit Management has developed a series of fund-raising workshops to help nonprofit organizations with resource development.
The four-part series is scheduled over two days, Nov. 11 and 16, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 222 NW 15th St.
On Nov. 11, "The Principles of Fundraising" will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and "The Annual Giving Campaign" is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. On Nov. 12, "Marketing Puts Money in the Bank" will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and "Board Development: Its Role in Securing Major Gifts" is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The cost for each workshop is $20 or $60 for all four. A Houston-based telephone services reseller faces contempt charges for nine violations of Oklahoma telephone laws and Corporation Commission rules.
The commission said that its Consumer Service Division filed the complaint against Axces Inc. The division is seeking the maximum fine allowed by law, the greater of $10,000 per occurrence or $500 per day per violation, and revocation of Axces' authority to resell telephone services in Oklahoma.
Axces allegedly switched the long-distance service of seven customers without authority, which is known as "slamming." It also allegedly added unauthorized charges, known as "cramming," to the phone bills of two of those …
