The fully configured Henry V8 is equipped with eight concurrent super layers, offering numerous simultaneous processes on-line to the operator. A comprehensive feature set includes motion tracking, texturing, color correction, matte keying and special effects capabilities. The system also provides 30 or 120 minutes of full broadcast quality ITU-R 601 video, as well as real-time viewing and editing at any stage of the project.

Probe II Accessories

Innovision Optics introduces two new accessories for use with the Probe II Lens System. Innovision's new 9mm lens joins the existing family of 12mm, 16mm, 20mm and 32mm interchangeable front objective lenses already available as part of the Probe II system. The 9mm is an extreme wide angle lens which covers TV-safe aperture. An underwater cover allows for immersion of the lens up to 8-9" and acts as a protective front cover when shooting extreme close-ups. Multicoated glass front elements provide minimal distortion.

Innovision's new 45° Right Angle Prism Attachment gives operators a point of view at the level of the shooting surface with no loss of light. With the attachment, a camera can be suspended within the shooting environment and the lens placed along the floor.

The Probe II Lens System incorporates a 15'' long lens barrel with a diameter of 1.7'', a configuration that allows the operator to get over, under and even through objects, creating a novel range of shooting possibilities.

Noise Reduction Plug-In Upgraded

Sonic Foundry debuted its updated Noise Reduction Plug-In as a DirectX Audio Plug-In at NAMM Show '97. The retooled software now features real-time previews and operates with any editor that supports DirectX Audio Plug-Ins, including Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge 4.0.

The Noise Reduction Plug-In allows users to remove distracting audio flaws with minimal effect on the source material. With real-time previews, editors can constantly monitor and adjust audio signals to achieve noise-free audio with a minimum of artifacting.
