Over the past three years, the Journal of Professional Counseling: Practice, Theory, and Research (JPC), has had the opportunity to transition from a branch journal to a national journal. Dr. Chester Robinson announced in the spring issue of 2005 that the journal had been abstracted and indexed by EBSCO, as well as assigned an ISSN by the Library of Congress. At that time the editorial board became more reflective of a national journal, adding board members from around the country.
