Eastern Region

The region board met at Writtle Agricultural College on Saturday 29 April, Ray Martin, chairman presided. One of the main items on the agenda was to receive a report from the recruitment and retention sub group (chaired by Robin Beard with Mike Barnes and Mike Quinlan. Dick Bridges had also sat in on some meetings. The brief to the group was "to study the environment that the IMS is existing in and propose plans for a future reversal of projected pathways and for this the plan (2-3 years) to be initiated at regional level, using the correct lines of communication and passed over to national level.
