Good as Gold

PASADENA.... Collectors might want to consider a visit to the Pasadena Museum of California Art this month. The California Art Club's (CAC) annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibition is on display with works by 129 artists from across the state, including Meredith Brooks Abbott, Sunny Apinchapong-Yang, Brian Blood, Armand Cabrera, Dennis Dohcny, Glenna Hartmann, and Charles Muench. The arresting figurative, still-life, and landscape paintings are available for purchase. In conjunction with the presentation, the exhibition features about 15 paintings by early CAC artists, many of whom were instrumental in the club's founding in 1909.
