GAGERN, HEINRICH, FREIHERR VON
| hīnˈrĭkh frīˈhĕr fən gäˈgərn, 1799–1880, German statesman. A Hessian parliamentary leader and leading advocate of German unity, he became (1848) president of the Frankfurt Parliament.
