GROUCHY, EMMANUEL, MARQUIS DE
| ĕmänüĕlˈ märkēˈ də grooshēˈ, 1766–1847, French general in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars. He was made a marshal after Napoleon's return from Elba during the Hundred Days.
