RAMOTH-GILEAD

rāˈmŏth-gĭlˈēăd or Ramoth in Gilead, ancient city of Palestine, E of the Jordan. It is named in the Bible as a place of refuge and as Ahab's last battlefield. It also appears as Ramah.
