Following the initial "Avvertenze" (8) on transcription criteria for the Chinese, Sanskrit, and Tibetan names used in the text, and "Orientamenti" (11-29), the book is divided into three chapters: "Il poema di Seng-ts'an" (31-93); "Il poema di Ma-gcig" (95-193); and "Premesse ed esito dell'ermeneutica spirituale comparata" (195-264). A bibliography concludes the volume (265-84).

This issue of Arzana is divided into 4 sections. The first (19-102), "Mises en scene de chroniques et d'hagiographies medievales," contains articles by Veronique Abbruzzetti, Dominique Budor, Johannes Bartuschat, and Beatrice Laroche. The second section (103-80), entitled "Valeurs et schemas medievaux chez Leopardi," includes essays by Marina Gagliano, Donatella Bisconti, and Perle Abbrugiati. The third section (181-246), "Modules poetiques et narratifs," includes articles by Marina Marietti, and Claude Perrus and Anne Boule-Basuyau. The final section (247-310), "Figures et poetes mythiques," contains articles by Denis Ferraris, Myriam Tynant, and Walter Geerts.

Stefano Guglielmin was born in 1961 in Schio (Vicenza), and is the author of poetry and essays. This collection of verse is divided into two parts: "io in terza persona" (5-49) and "Dappertutto" (51-60). The volume concludes with Tiziano Salari's note entitled "L'ultimo confine di io" (61-66).
