Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey[R], long committed to teaching children through its nationwide educational performances, is now offering a special back-to-school gift for primary school teachers and home school instructors. Through a special section of the newly redesigned Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Web site (www. Ringling.com/circusworks), teachers can print and download exciting activities that reinforce classroom lessons and make fundamental skills come alive for students. This new educational tool is the CIRCUSWORKS Education Center[R].

Ringling Bros' new online education center is easy for educators and makes learning more fun for teachers and students in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. The CIRCUSWORKS Education Center will launch with three online educational lesson units and two special divisions:

* All About the Circus--This section has a glossary of dozens of circus-related words so children can learn vocabulary words in a context they'll enjoy and understand.

* Unit One: Language Arts--This unit consists of language lessons such as creative writing and role playing.

* Unit Two: Diversity and Geography--These lessons are centered on circus performers who hail from all over the world and are on The Greatest Show on Earth[R], which travels throughout the United States. …
