Science Joins Participants in Virtual Journals

The American Institute of Physics (AIP) has announced that topically relevant Research Articles and Reports from Science magazine are now available in the Virtual Journal of Nanoscale Science & Technology (http://www.vjnano.org) and the Virtual Journal of Biological Physics Research (http://www.vjbio.org), co-published by AIP and the American Physical Society (APS), as of their mid-August issues. The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is providing AIP and APS with abstracts from Science for posting in the Virtual Journals (VJ) without access restrictions, so that the communities using the Virtual Journals will have a convenient route to access related articles in Science (http://www.sciencemag.org).

Science Online abstracts are fully incorporated into the VJ database to provide a robust search capability. In order to view the full-text articles, VJ users will need to follow the links provided to the Science Online site. There, Science's user-authentication techniques will apply. …
