Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) Online Services, along with UOL Publishing, Inc. (formerly University Online) and leading universities around the country, has announced a comprehensive continuing education program on the World Wide Web. Certificate programs will be offered in a variety of subjects including finance, management, and marketing. There is a special emphasis on the use of the Internet and subscriber databases. Courses will be available at different levels geared toward novices, occasional users, and professional researchers.

The following programs are currently being offered:

* DIALOG: A free course using D&B files on this Knight-Ridder Information online service, which includes domestic and international marketing data, financial information on U.S. companies, and three D&B business reports

* Analysis of Financial Statements for Non-Financial Managers: A course offered by New York University's School of Continuing Education

* International Research: A course focusing on international databases and ways to investigate business opportunities across the world

* George Washington University Event Management Certificate Program: An accredited seven-course program
