EBSCO Information Services has announced that it has added Information Science Abstracts (ISA), TOC Premier, and the MLA International Bibliography to its EBSCOhost search interface.

Information Science Abstracts

ISA, published by Information Today, Inc., provides worldwide coverage of library science and information science records from more than 450 publications dating to 1966. Topics include abstracting and indexing, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management, Internet search engines, printed and electronic information sources, the information industry, electronic publishing, and more. The data is updated nine times a year.

ISA researchers can use EBSCO SmartLinks and CustomLinks at no additional charge with any EBSCO database subscription. These features allow users to link instantly from a citation in the results list to the corresponding full text in other EBSCO databases or electronic journals to which the library subscribes. They also provide links to the library's OPAC, online interlibrary loan forms or services, and several document delivery services.

TOC Premier

According to the announcement, TOC Premier's journal title coverage and the wide range of linking features available through EBSCOhost can help libraries and researchers quickly locate the information they need.

Oliver Pesch, EBSCO Publishing's senior vice president and chief architect, said: "On its own, TOC Premier provides a valuable and flexible research tool that is a great starting point for research. When fully integrated into all of a library's resources, it provides a single point of access to almost every element of the library's collection and thus increases the value and usability of the entire collection. …
