-- American Enterprise Bank hired Carole Gardner as a senior vice president and Tracie McRae as a vice president.

COMMUNICATIONS

-- Gaiacomm International Corp. of Jacksonville appointed its board of directors: Judah Ben-Hur, chairman and chief technology officer; David Horne Jr., president and CEO; Dan Thomas Jr., chief operations officer; Rob Cotton, chief personnel officer; and William Horne and James Horne, outside directors.

-- WJCT TV-7 selected new members and officers for its 2004-05 board of trustees. Officers are Steven Wallace, president of Florida Community College at Jacksonville, chair; James McCollum, regional director of corporate and external affairs for BellSouth, chair-elect; and Paul Mangus, senior vice president and regional investment manager for Evergreen Private Asset Management, treasurer. New members include John Delaney, president of the University of North Florida; Cyrus Jollivette, senior vice president of public affairs for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida; Ricardo Morales III, president of Morales Construction Co. Inc.; and attorney Audrey McKibbin Moran of Moran Mediation and Litigation Group.

BUILDING/DESIGN

-- Richard R. Dostie, a Toll Brothers Co., hired Mike Talkington as an assistant project manager.

-- Mark Veenstra joined Powers Design-Powers Mackey Reidenbach & Lanehart Inc. as a senior project manager in the company's architecture department.

-- Sisler Johnston Interior Design promoted Dawn-Marie Arnold to senior project coordinator.

-- Michael White joined Jones Edmunds & Associates as water/wastewater discipline director. He will be based out of the firm's Jacksonville office.

-- Taylor Engineering Inc.'s R. Bruce Taylor, CEO, and Frank Linn, senior technical editor, have been selected for one-year leadership positions with the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers. Taylor will serve as president and Linn will serve as public relations committee chair.

-- Kimberly Fitzgibbons joined PBS&J's Jacksonville office as an environmental planner/scientist.

HOSPITALITY

-- Firehouse Subs hired David Knighton as IT manager.

-- William Duke, owner of Camille's Sidewalk Cafe on Deerwood Lake Parkway, has been appointed to the board of directors and the advisory board for Tulsa-based Camille's Sidewalk Cafe Franchise Systems.

-- Randall Carter has been selected as the food and beverage director for the Atrium at Regency.

-- The Palencia Club hired Hal Holanchock as its executive chef. …
