Even Our Encyclopedias Are History!

LITTLE bookworms are hoping for new things to read in their school library.

Zetland Primary School's library recently underwent a major facelift.

But the new-look library now has one thing missing - up-to-date books to read.

Headteacher Dianne Gage said: "We recently refurbished our library with parents also raising money with a summer fair.

"We've put colourful murals up and the bookcases have been brightened up, but the books are out of date.

"Some of the encyclopedias date back to 1982, but we're now hoping we can add some new books to our beautiful resource."

She backed up the school's bid by penning a poem for consideration in our Wish campaign - where not-for-profit groups get a share of pounds 25,000, depending on the number of tokens they collect.

Which is why we're sending this letter. …
