DANDY Nicholls has a better record than most at Chester over recent years and Heywood can defy a penalty in the Kemira Growhow Handicap on the Roodee today.

The Thirsk trainer has few peers when it comes to handling speedsters and after a brief dalliance at middle distances, Heywood is now back doing what he does best.
