The adult education program at Twin Lakes Academy Middle School is offering classes ranging from scrapbooking to computers starting Monday at 8050 Point Meadows Drive. The lineup is:

- Investing in residential real estate, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays for five weeks at a cost of $50.

- Building wealth for retirement, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays for four weeks, $40.

- Introduction to scrap booking, 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays for six weeks, $50 with extra supplies needed.

-Introduction to computers, 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays for six weeks, $50.

- Microsoft Word usage, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays for six weeks, $50.

- Yoga for beginners, 6 to 7:15 p.m. Mondays for six weeks, $50.

To register, call the school at 538-0825, ext. 122, between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. weekdays.

Shalom Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Jewish Federation's Shalom Jacksonville is hosting a brunch for newcomers and those newly interested in the Jewish community from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the Jewish Community Alliance auditorium, 8505 San Jose Blvd. In addition to a bagel brunch, guests can connect with people from shared hometowns or colleges while playing People Bingo.

Rock 'n Ride for daniel

The seventh annual Rock 'n Ride for daniel raised $110,000 for abused and neglected children served by the Southside-based nonprofit, a news release said. More than 550 motorcycles with about 900 riders joined the fundraiser, which is sponsored by First Coast Honda of St. Augustine. The event was expanded this year by adding a St. Augustine leg to the ride.
