An 18-year-old woman and 25-year-old man are under arrest after a young girl was hospitalized with a skull fracture, wrist fractures and two leg fractures, Jacksonville police said.

Amanda Carolyn Glass and Sean Michael Archibeque of Confederate Point Road were charged Wednesday with aggravated child abuse and child neglect causing great bodily harm. Each remains in jail on $125,000 bail each.

The Westside couple told investigators that the toddler "went limp" when she woke from a nap on May 26 and was diagnosed with a viral infection when taken to a hospital emergency room. But at a Monday family cookout, the toddler wasn't acting normal, moving slowly and slumped over, according to the arrest report.

They told police she had fallen off a toddler bed, hit her head in the tub and also on corner of the hallway wall, according to the arrest report. By Wednesday officials diagnosed her as the victim of abuse and neglect.
