Artists can now apply for individual funding through the Arts Ventures fund of The Community Foundation of Northeast Florida. Visual and performing artists in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties are eligible to apply for grants of up to $3,500 to help advance their work.
Applications are available at www.jaxcf.org/apply. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Thursday, June 5.
RITZ PLAYERS PRESENT SPRING CONCERT
The Ritz Chamber Players will present a Spring Finale concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Because of a scheduling conflict, the concert will be presented in the Hicks Auditorium of Jacksonville's Main Library, 303 N. Laura St. instead of the usual venue, the Jacoby Symphony Hall.
The concert is free to the public but because space is limited, anyone planning to attend is asked to register at bit.ly/1v1ayOR.
CHILDREN'S CHORUS AUDITIONS UPCOMING
The Jacksonville Children's Chorus will be conducting auditions of children in grades 1-12 for its 2014-15 season. Auditions will be held Wednesday and Thursday, as well as May 28, May 29 and June 26.

SYMPHONY TO PERFORM IN NASSAU, CLAY
The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra will perform its annual "Let Freedom Ring" concert at 7 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, 1600 S. Eighth St., Fernandina Beach. The concert, conducted by Morihiko Nakahara, is present by ARIAS (Amelia Residents In Action for the Symphony). Tickets are $15, $5 for children 18 and under. They are being sold at several venues in Nassau County and will be available at the door.
The orchestra, conducted by Nakahara, will perform a "Concert on the Green" at 8 p.m. Sunday, May 25, at Magnolia Point Golf & Country Club in Green Cove Springs. …
