Entertainer TRINI LOPEZ faces charges of beating up his ex-girlfriend - and the woman's lawyer says Lopez is getting off easy.

The lawyer is Gloria Allred, who says Lopez should have been nailed with a felony, not a misdemeanor. He's accused of beating Rose Mihata, who was hospitalized Sept. 22.

Prosecutors say they went for a misdemeanor because Mihata's injuries weren't serious and because Lopez has no criminal record.
