VIKINGS vs. STEELERS (In London)

Line * Steelers by 3

Synopsis * Vikes QB Christian Ponder (fractured rib) gives way to former Chiefs starter Matt Cassel and he works vs. the No. 28 pass defense as both teams search for first win. Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (foot) is getting healthy, is expected to make his NFL debut and faces the No. 21 run defense.

RAVENS AT BILLS

Line * Ravens by 3

Synopsis * After a rough start in Denver, Baltimore's defense hasn't allowed a TD in its last two outings and faces a Buffalo offense that ranks 20th in scoring. The Bills allow 155 yards rushing, second-most in the NFL, which is a bad sign with Ravens RB Ray Rice (hip) hoping to be back. If not, Bernard Pierce will get the call.

RAVENS 23, BILLS 17.

BENGALS AT BROWNS

Line * Bengals by 3

Synopsis * Brian Hoyer is back at QB for Cleveland after a decent start last week, including three TD passes to TE Jordan Cameron in upset win over Minnesota. But he'll be facing a tough Cincinnati defense. The Bengals could have a letdown after rallying to beat Packers last weekend and now heading out on the road.

BROWNS 23, BENGALS 20.

COLTS AT JAGUARS

Line * Colts by 8

Synopsis * INDY clearly is the far superior team here but could have letdown after big surprise win in SF last week. Blaine Gabbert back at QB for JAX after missing time because of hand injury, but his team has the NFL's worst offense and the "D" is last vs. the run. Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) is out, leaving the load for Trent Richardson.

COLTS 24, JAGUARS 13.

SEAHAWKS AT TEXANS

Line * Seahawks by 2

Synopsis * SEA (first) and HOU (second) rank Nos. 1-2 in the NFL in defense, and the Seahawks are the early season class of the league. However, they aren't nearly as strong on the road as at home, and HOU expects to have key WR Andre Johnson (shin) perking along. An upset, which really wouldn't be much of an upset, is a big possibility here.

TEXANS 20, SEAHAWKS 16.

CARDINALS AT BUCS

Line * Buccaneers by 2

Synopsis * With Josh Freeman benched, rookie Mike Glennon gets his initial call and teams whose QB is making his first NFL start are 20-45 over last 7+ seasons, 1-1 this year. Look for Tampa Bay to be conservative, but that could be trouble because ARIZ is No. 3 vs. the run. Cardinals QB Carson Palmer should move ball vs. so-so Tampa defense.

CARDINALS 23, BUCS 17.

BEARS AT LIONS

Line * Lions by 3

Synopsis * A ball-hawking defense keys CHI, (three defensive TDs in the last two games and five takeaways already this year). But DET's fourth-rated offense is focused this year and RB Reggie Bush (knee) plans to play after being out last week. However, Lions WR Nate Burleson (broken arm) is out for several weeks.

LIONS 24, BEARS 17.

GIANTS AT CHIEFS

Line * Chiefs by 4

Synopsis * Would have liked to pick NY to finally win, as KC is due for a letdown. But the Giants' offensive line is an injury- laden mess, which is a bad omen for turnover-prone QB Eli Manning as he faces the NFL's leading team for takeaways and sacks. …
