Crude Runs to Stills Average 12.2 Million Barrels Daily during Week Ended Feb. 21

WASHINGTON (AP) - Total crude runs to stills averaged 12,252,000 barrels daily during the week ended Friday, Feb. 21, the American Petroleum Institute has reported.

This compared with 12,106,000 barrels daily in the previous week and 11,487,000 barrels daily a year ago.

Crude runs east of California averaged 9,965,000 barrels daily compared with 9,777,000 the previous week and 9,427,000 a year ago.

Motor gasoline production for the latest week amounted to 6,499,000 barrels a day, compared with 6,467,000 barrels a day in the previous week and 5,956,000 a day a year ago.

East of California motor gasoline production was 5,537,000 a day compared with 5,414,000 a day last week and 5,061,000 a day a year ago.

Motor gasoline stocks at the end of the latest week were 241,725,000 barrels, versus 242,564,000 a week earlier and 226,977,000 a year ago.

East of California motor gasoline stocks totaled 211,037,000 barrels, compared with 210,891,000 in the previous week and 195,727,000 barrels last year.

Daily average gross crude oil and lease condensate production for the week ended Friday was 8,931,000 barrels compared with 8,868,000 last year. …
