Mcdowell, Farmer to Lead State Delegation to Trade Show

George McDowell, president of the Sales and Marketing Executives Association of Oklahoma City, and Don Farmer, president-elect, will lead the Oklahoma City delegation to the 54th Annual International Marketing Congress and Trade Show of Sales and Marketing Executives International in June. Larson, a doctoral candidate in marketing at the University of Oklahoma, is one of three recipients nationwide of a grant from the National Association of Purchasing Management to support his dissertation research. - Robert A. Nye, professor of history at the University of Oklahoma, has been awarded a $27,500 Senior Fellowship at the Rutgers University Center for Historical Analysis in New Brunswick, N.J. A member of the OU history faculty since 1969, Nye has received grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Science Foundation. He is the author of three books and numerous scholarly articles, and has won three prizes on his work. . .
