Insurance Firm to Be Sold at Auctions The Gerald D. Bash & Associates insurance company will be sold at auctions at 10 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. May 24.

Bash has announced plans to retire, according to Dakil Auctioneers Inc., which will conduct the auctions.

The one-story Gerald D. Bash & Associates office building at 1915 NW 23rd St. will be sold at an auction scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday.

The main floor of this property totals 1,325 square feet. The office also has a 440-square-foot basement, a totally remodeled interior, new roof, and new central air system with humidifier located on a 50- by 140-foot lot.

Interested parties may view the property by appointment at other times than the auction time, Dakil said.

Furnishings and appointments of the agency, including the appointments of six agents' offices and two secretary stations, will be sold in the second auction May 24.

Office furniture scheduled for sale includes two secretary desks, four wood executive desks, 26 chairs, wood credenza, end tables, coffee table, bookcases, file cabinets, two lamps, typewriter stand, clocks, Autotron 416 Modular Key System telephone system, typewriter, transcription machine, two answering machines, and a copier.

Senate Issues Contract on Mental Health Plan A contract to develop a comprehensive plan to deliver mental health treatment and substance abuse prevention services to Oklahoma communities has been issued to a Massachusetts firm by the Oklahoma Senate.

After a competitive bid process, members of the Joint Mental Health Planning Task Force on May 1 approved letting the contract to the Human Services Research Institute of Cambridge, Mass. The contract is being funded by the Senate through the Oklahoma Legislative Services Bureau.

The institute will begin its work this month and will issue a final report by February 1990. Sen. Ben Brown, D-Oklahoma City, chairman of the 15-member task force, said the consultant would work with full cooperation from the State Department of Mental Health.

The task force was created last year to assess Oklahoma's delivery of mental health services. …
