Macklanburg-Duncan Names Williams, Labbe Vice Presidents

Macklanburg-Duncan has announced the addition of two vice presidents. Steve Williams has been named vice president of marketing and Ronald Labbe will be vice president of national accounts.

Williams will oversee the marketing and product development efforts of the firm's numerous building product lines. He was previously vice president of marketing at Master Lock Co. in Milwaukee and also held product management positions for the Gillette Company in Boston.

Labbe will be responsible for the management of the national account sales team. He formerly was vice president of national account sales for DAP Inc. in Tipp City, Ohio. He held several sales and marketing positions during his 20 year career with the firm. Services Lyn Watson has been named sales/marketing training coordinator for Dobson Communications Corp. She will develop and conduct marketing and sales training for the company. Dobson has four years of training experience and has developed and conducted a variety of training programs. She previously held several positions at DataTimes Corp., an online information provider. Eileen Checorski has been appointed sales/safety secretary for Accord Human Resources. She will produce safety materials and safety programs for all Accord clients, as well as perform administrative duties for three sales associates. Checorski has served as an administrative assistant to the controller at Kelley, Drye and Warren in New York City the past ten years. She was also an executive secretary for NCR Corp. and the publicity coordinator for Estee Lauder Inc. Ronald Baker has joined VoiceStream Wireless as market manager for the Oklahoma City area. He has over 12 years of experience in cellular communications including service as product segment manager for AT&T Wireless Services, providing nationwide coordination of all government accounts. Baker has extensive experience in wireless data products and applications and has conducted seminars nationally on wireless disaster preparedness, integrating the virtual office and the ABC's of personal communication services and networks. John Leverett has joined PCA Solutions Inc. as purchasing agent. He will be responsible for negotiation and purchasing of products and services for all Division II offices which includes 11 states. Leverett was previously purchasing manager for Physicians Sales & Service and was also a buyer for INTEGRIS- Baptist Medical Center. Offices The Oklahoma Pilots Association has elected new officers for 1997. Bill Porter, president of Aviation Insurance Group, has been elected president of the association, a member-controlled non-profit organization for pilots and aircraft owners. …
