our large backyard

I remember bands of
sunshine and the sweet scent of new blossoms surrounding me
as I waited to be found by "It." I must have been about 8 years
old, and the neighborhood kids were embroiled in a game of
hide and seek. The foliage provided a pretty good camouflage.
