Rewedding Rings
Are Not for Free
ORIGINALLY, I thought of contacting the Mafia. They know more about this sort of thing than I do. Didn't the Mafia work on contracts or something like that? I imagined our conversation.
"She'll be easy to recognize. She's tall and dark. Striking. But strong as an ox, so be prepared."
"Madam, this is my business."
"Just break her up a little."
"Arms and legs were you thinking?"
"I'd say so. Incapacitate her, I wouldn't mind if she was unconscious for a few months."
"Hmmm, madam, I fear you do not understand the nature of your problem. If we incapacitate her it will not do anything to ease the alimony situation. Or the child support."
"I told you I don't mind about the child support. After all these years I've gotten used to it. Sandy has to be fed and clothed and educated. What kind of monster do you think I am?"
