1. There is no "innate aversion" to incest; what there is, is an innate inclination to it.
2. There is no built-in blood ban against incest, nor does primary incest automatically spell biologic disaster (babies with horns), even in the monogamous family.
3. But if there were a built-in, biologic blood ban, a goodly percentage of the synergistic family are not biologically related anyway.
4. The synergistic family also does not have the cradle-to-grave recognition of each other that have acted to restrain the monogamous family from incest.

How to Avoid the Apocalypse—Preventive Ploys
1. Pre-divorce
Do not snipe at, strafe, and shell your future ex with the children as observers. Also avoid trench warfare.
Do not train your children to inform on your future ex.
