8. We then investigate the important topic of leadership in Chapter 9 and conflict and negotiation in Chapter 10. Chapter 11 discusses designing effective organizations. In Chapter 12 we discuss how each organization has its own culture that acts to shape the behavior of its members (i.e., ethical or unethical behavior and response to workforce diversity). Chapter 13 considers various organizational change issues and techniques that managers can use to affect behavior for the organization’s benefit. Chapter 14 concludes the book with a look at the changing roles and responsibilities for career development and management in today’s organizations.
