THE SACRIFICIAL ACT
|1.||When Abraham is given the good news of a son, he vows to offer him as a sacrifice to God. After the son grows up, Abraham is shown a vision in his sleep telling him that he must fulfill his vow (5/5) and sacrifice Isaac (4/5).|
|2.||Abraham tells Isaac to come and make a sacrifice 2 to God. He takes along a knife and a rope (5/5).|
|3.||When they come between some mountains, the boy asks where the offering is (5/5).|
|4.||Abraham answers with Q.37:102: ... O MY SON, I SEE IN A VISION THAT I WILL SACRIFICE YOU. SO LOOK, WHAT IS YOUR VIEW?" THE SON SAID: "O MY FATHER! DO AS YOU ARE COMMANDED. IF GOD WILLS, YOU WILL FIND ME PATIENT AND ENDURING!" (5/5). 3|
