George Cadwalader is assigned to the command of the forces constituting the Garrison of Corinth, and will relieve Major Gen. E. O. C. Ord." H. W. Halleck, General-in-chief of the Army, at Washington, D. C. Major Gen. E. O. C. Ord is hereby assigned to the
