Whose job is it anyway?
One of the questions that has run through this book, and in particular Chapter 1, concerns the relative roles and responsibilities of students and teachers in the teaching-learning process. You can explore this with staff and/or students by taking the list of functions set out in the previous appendix and asking both groups to what extent they think it is their or the other's responsibility, using Figure A2.1.
