WILLIAM C. BINNING serves as Chair of the Political Science Department at Youngstown State University. He earned a Ph.D. from Notre Dame University. Binning has published a number of essays on state and local parties in the United States. In addition to his scholarly interest in parties, Binning has been actively involved in political parties. He served as the Chair of the local county Republican Party for a decade, and was a delegate to three Republican National Conventions. He is listed in Who's Who in American Politics.
LARRY E. ESTERLY is professor emeritus at Youngstown State University after teaching American Politics for over twenty-five years. He did his graduate work at Johns Hopkins University. While at Youngstown State, he was named a University Distinguished Professor. In 1996, he was appointed by Ohio Governor George Voinovich to serve as a Trustee of the University for a nine-year term.
PAUL A. SRACIC has taught Constitutional Law and Political Theory at Youngstown State University since 1992. He has a Ph.D. from Rutgers University. In 1998, he was named Outstanding Professor of the Year. He regularly contributes book reviews and articles on the Supreme Court to the Philadelphia Inquirer and "Commonweal". He has written articles on the Supreme Court and on American Politics for the Washington Post, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and Commonweal.
